This trust system is the opposite of the core of an mmorpg. It caters to the single player, I don't want to wait for anything mentality that has negatively impacted the mmo genre.

If you want to play on your own, even with a cart load of macro'd automatons, then play something else.
FFXIV does not need this dilution, this misguided, misdirection away from an mmorpg.

A bad move, and one that can only damage once more the group ethos of what an mmorpg is about.
i like to play alone too most of the times and im not gonna play something else. Thats the nice thing about his game, i can play how I want to. If I wanna queue up with people I can, and if not I go with trusts. Its nice to have the option. My mmo experience doesnt have to be like yours, or someone elses. also were still playing with other ppl 95% of the content. since its only the shb story dunegons that can use trusts. its also a great option for people who play on times when there is not much going on, including myself. i play active in the early mornings and if i can avoid a 30min+ queue ill do so.
