From the footage and opinions I've seen and heard from the media tour guests the Tank and Healer AI is pretty good while its the DPS AI that's a little lack luster.

Watching the live letter video, the main problems were that Thancred only single-pulled and Minfilia refused to AoE.
I'll probably give these a try pulling extra packs for Thancred; and if the Trust can't handle it, off to play with humans.
Could be about the difference between US/EU and JP servers? I'm on JP and the average dungeon run is pretty efficient. It can go wrong of course, but usually it's fine.
It'll be great for leveling DPS classes if the average times haven't changed from the media tour. 30-40 minutes over waiting 15-20 and then the 30 minute dungeon.
If the last expansion is any indication of early queue times, I don't' think it'll be that bad. Even with two new DPS jobs introduced, I remember not waiting more than 5 minutes as a DPS to get into story dungeons. But it definitely will be good to level if you don't mind the extra time spent in the dungeon and reduced loot.
Right off the gate it won't be bad due to sheer volume of players but later on, it'll be a godsent. Extra points if one of the leveling dungeons in Shb is a proper wall like Bardam/Doma Castle were. Took forever to go on those about 3 months ago when I leveled everything to 70.If the last expansion is any indication of early queue times, I don't' think it'll be that bad. Maybe this was before the duty finder was data center wide? Or was the duty finder always for the entire data center? Giglamesh is a high population server which would explain the much longer queue times for me if that was the case.
There was always an easy way to not wait for duty queues in game. It was called switching to a Tank or Healer... >.>
Also as someone pointed out I wouldn't be surprised of an emergency patch or an update saying trusts were disabled for a period at the beginning in the aim of improving server stability along with reducing congestion of instance servers.
That never really was an issue for me because the way I handled doing duty queues with my DPS classes was to queue then go about doing other things in game that didn't require an instance such as various quests, fates, hunts, and so on. So when people cried about "having to wait around for the queue to pop as DPS" I end up rolling my eyes because in my view they're crying over their own choice to stand around doing nothing. Especially if they were queueing to level up their DPS class because they could be doing things while in queue to gain additional exp to level up faster.
