it'll still take just about as long as if you queued with a group since the dungeoun will take longer to clear the NPCs also have distinct personalities so the entire thing can change up accoridng to the party. and less xpSo, I just want to clarify...with the Trust system...I can basically move through the MSQ dungeons without ever needing to queue for a party? If so, this is a godsend for those of us who are DPS because we won't be stuck in the endless wait.
I guess it all depends on how intuitive these AI companions are and if they actually function well. In theory, I would love to be able to cut out being dependent on other people to progress. However, if the experience is a janky mess, it might be worth waiting.
I am also wondering how it impacts queue times. Will most people opt to bypass the Duty Finder and go with TRUST, significantly extending wait times or will it have the opposite impact and reduce them?
So many variables! O_o
"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."
In other words they were saying people using trusts will likely break the system in week one.really? where did you read / hear that? seems kinda silly to me that trusts are disabled the first week since they are here to queue up for story dungeons, especially the first week when we all do storyi cant find anything in the patch notes, I hope they rly dont do that )= I was counting on them for the weekend ;_;

Seriously doubt that, especially as a solo dps.
When HW released, and SB released, queue times as a DPS never exeeced 15mins. They were usually 5mins long.
Too many people are going through the MSQ.
So if they do block the trusts, the queue really wont be that long, until more ppl get through the MSQ. Then the queue times for DPS will go up.
(and as with most people, you sit in a 15-30min queue, while doing quests in that zone, or FATEs)
Inb4 "reserving instance: 1 hour"
I distinctly remember sitting on that stupid boat with alphinaud and them waiting over 2 hours in the queue to do that first MSQ dungeon for SB.When HW released, and SB released, queue times as a DPS never exeeced 15mins. They were usually 5mins long.

I did think it was amusing that Yoshi-P said that playing with players would be more efficient than running trusts that could take up to 30mins to complete a duty...
Thats HILARIOUS on multiple grounds.
1. Human players =/= BETTER (No offense but Ive seen some pretty bad dungeon runs in my time in XIV)
2. Human players =/= FASTER (Bad runs, potential afk pit stops, etc can lead to longer runs)
3. Queue times may be way slower for DPS (or others depending on whats in demand). Trust instances may be faster to get into shaving off that wait time for exp runs, etc.
There are also some benefits to trusts that you cant get with a human group. Like for example us parents with kids that feel bad for having to jump out of a dungeon when kid aggro happens.
Among other things, but yeah I did find his "more efficient" comment rather amusing. It's NOT ALWAYS more efficient with human players versus AI ones lol.
now that u mention it, that was my longest queue, and was 35mins. maybe ist cuz i did it onlyonce, and never went back to it again (wanted to gear up from bardums+)
I’m planning to level GNB and DNC to 70 first so not sure I’ll even hit MSQ during early access depending on how long that takes
