    Question So, with the TRUST system I never have to wait to queue for a dungeon in ShB?

    So, I just want to clarify...with the Trust system...I can basically move through the MSQ dungeons without ever needing to queue for a party? If so, this is a godsend for those of us who are DPS because we won't be stuck in the endless wait.

    I guess it all depends on how intuitive these AI companions are and if they actually function well. In theory, I would love to be able to cut out being dependent on other people to progress. However, if the experience is a janky mess, it might be worth waiting.

    I am also wondering how it impacts queue times. Will most people opt to bypass the Duty Finder and go with TRUST, significantly extending wait times or will it have the opposite impact and reduce them?

    So many variables! O_o

    You are only able to do MSQ dungeons with the trust system as far i know and the amount of loot you get is also reduced, if i remember right from the live letter.

    Is pretty much to help people getting msq dungeons done without having to wait a long time just to enter the dungeon.

    If is anything like Squadron, then the npcs will prob be very op lol.

    Inb4 trusts are disabled for the first week of the expansion to prevent servers from crashing.

    really? where did you read / hear that? seems kinda silly to me that trusts are disabled the first week since they are here to queue up for story dungeons, especially the first week when we all do story i cant find anything in the patch notes, I hope they rly dont do that )= I was counting on them for the weekend ;_;

    Yoshi said if they start creating problems with the game, they have an "emergency button" ready (disable them most likely). Depending on how many people use it, I'm expecting the same problems as SB launch to happen, because it's barely different from putting a solo instance (both reserve an instance for each player using it, and the more people using trusts, the more instances created).

    Emergency Button? Sounds serious. "Pull the lever, Yoshi!" "WRONG LEVER!"

    In other words they were saying people using trusts will likely break the system in week one.

    i rather them keep trusts in and disable partying with other players! More fun and more mmo feel imo

    How can a single person running an instance feel more like a massively multiplayer game? - see the clue there in the name?
    This trust system is the opposite of the core of an mmorpg. It caters to the single player, I don't want to wait for anything mentality that has negatively impacted the mmo genre.

    If you want to play on your own, even with a cart load of macro'd automatons, then play something else.
    FFXIV does not need this dilution, this misguided, misdirection away from an mmorpg.

    A bad move, and one that can only damage once more the group ethos of what an mmorpg is about.
