It's just death = party wipe, not having to totally do the entire duty again. Essentially the NPCs can't rez you.Unless I misunderstood information, one of the drawbacks to the trust system is, if you die, you have to start completely over. But that may be in reference to the bosses, as in they just reset instead of the trust npcs continuing without you. I didn't get much clarification on that.
Don't know about that, but I do know that it gonna be as if you play with absolute bad players who'll never ever AOE mobs of enemies. Also you can't do dungeon roulettes, along with smaller loot.Unless I misunderstood information, one of the drawbacks to the trust system is, if you die, you have to start completely over. It would more-than-likely do nothing to queue times over the long run. The Trust System isn’t just for DPS, it is also available for Tanks and Healers to use. Even though Tanks and Healers on average have near instant queues, there will be those who do not want to deal with real people and will opt to just use the trust system.

Exactly this! I'd love to try tanking but after reading some of the posts and hearing things people expect of tanks, there's no way I'd do it for random people. I'll heal for them, and dps, but tanking? No way. People are too vile about tanking 'expectations' and 'accountability' and all this other stuff. It would more-than-likely do nothing to queue times over the long run. "Once the landslide has begun, it is too late for the pebbles to vote."
I like playing with people in endgame content (EX/savage/24man, NOT the 4man stuff) so being able to skip the most annoying part of the game sounds fun.
I honestly had 0 interest in SH after a lot of bad news about it in the fan fests. But after I saw how cool trusts are, im back to being interested in SH again.

it'll still take just about as long as if you queued with a group since the dungeoun will take longer to clear the NPCs also have distinct personalities so the entire thing can change up accoridng to the party. and less xpSo, I just want to clarify...with the Trust system...I can basically move through the MSQ dungeons without ever needing to queue for a party? If so, this is a godsend for those of us who are DPS because we won't be stuck in the endless wait.
I guess it all depends on how intuitive these AI companions are and if they actually function well. In theory, I would love to be able to cut out being dependent on other people to progress. However, if the experience is a janky mess, it might be worth waiting.
I am also wondering how it impacts queue times. Will most people opt to bypass the Duty Finder and go with TRUST, significantly extending wait times or will it have the opposite impact and reduce them?
So many variables! O_o
"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."
Seriously doubt that, especially as a solo dps.
When HW released, and SB released, queue times as a DPS never exeeced 15mins. They were usually 5mins long.
Too many people are going through the MSQ.
So if they do block the trusts, the queue really wont be that long, until more ppl get through the MSQ. Then the queue times for DPS will go up.
(and as with most people, you sit in a 15-30min queue, while doing quests in that zone, or FATEs)

I distinctly remember sitting on that stupid boat with alphinaud and them waiting over 2 hours in the queue to do that first MSQ dungeon for SB.When HW released, and SB released, queue times as a DPS never exeeced 15mins. They were usually 5mins long.
