    No Squadron/Command Mission Expansion...?

    Or were details just omitted due to the patch notes being preliminary?
    They've added additional dungeons for squadrons at every patch so far...
    And tied Grand Company rank promotions to the system...

    I kinda assumed at the VERY least, they'd add some 60-70 dungeons and increase the cap from 60 to 70... But kinda hoped they'd add a smattering of extra dungeons across the entire level range.

    If NOTHING is added to this system on 5.0 I'd be fairly disappointed.
    It needs work, of course, but it is the 'Trust System' of pre Shadowbrigers content.
    So... work on it? Tune the AI? Add new dungeons? Increase the cap from 60 - 70?
    Maybe not everyone wants to use it, but I want to.
    I'm pretty bummed about this if it's just going to sit stagnant.

    They have to go back and make sure the squadrons are able to navigate and clear all of the dungeons you can take them into. I would guess we'll get more in future patches when they have resources to allocate to it.

    What a joke. Have you tried doing Wanderer's Palace (Hard)? because I assure you, they did not check whether the last boss was doable in the slightest. (But for anyone new to command missions, just don't even bother with any of the lvl50 dungeons, they all give terrible exp lower than Aurum Vale. Just grind Aurum Vale until Sohm Al)

    I also love the squadrons.
    I think because this being a new expansion, they may wait until 5.1 to give us the "new" squadron dungeons & new level cap.
    Right now, they are just concentrating now on ShB content, making sure everything is running fine.

    We didn't get their level raised from 50 to 60 until 4.1, so 5.1 is a pretty good bet for them going from 60 to 70.

    I would really like squadrons to unlock jobs and be used like trust too, and I would not mind if they where just copy/pasted AIs from the trust being implemented already (they just would have to change the dialogs to mantain the personalities of the "important" npc ones)

    I'd like to see them do something similar to FFXI where you can add 'secondary NPCs' to the party. ... Not just main ones. In the older content, the primary cast was always doing something else so it would be difficult to retroactively include them in the Trust system, ... but what about characters like Hoary Boulder? I'd love a short quest that allows me to add him to my Squadron. I'd use that guy constantly. It wouldn't break anything either. And as you say, copy/paste the Trust AI with minor modifications. The tiny... tiny FFXI dev team did this to create dozens upon dozens of Trust options and somehow they all ended up feeling unique.

    I suppose they will add it later. Right now players will be concentrated on MSQ and, one week (or two..?) after this, on Eden, so there is no big sense to expand Squadrons right now. So I would wait 5.1 maybe. Maybe even a little bit later in case if they are going to make some big update for them.

    Glad i'm not the only one wondering about what'll happen to the squadron and it's command missions. The trust system looks interesting enough but i really loved the command missions.. might not be any info as of yet but, like the others say.. 5.1 might shed some light on it's future.
