Because that's all the "PC master race" player will see. SE placing some form of limitation on them.

How do Roes and Hrothgar ride chocobos without breaking them? Highlanders and male Au Ra are pushing it, too. And that's just thinking about on land, never mind how they fly with anyone bigger than a Lala.

Apparently Crossworld Linkshells are more important than normal ones. Players have been asking for the ability to reorder them since 2.x

To be honest they're probably going to kill off regular linkshells completely. As they increase the CWL cap there's no reason for server only LS to exist.
