    Main Stat are Strength, Vitality, Dexterity, Mind and Intelligence. I think they have it where you can't meld these materia anymore if you do have them, but they won't do anything. You'll still be able to use gobbie to merge them together, but they've been removed from the pool of available materia from that. If you were around when they got rid of Elemental Materia then it should work the same as then.

    I like the additional "role" quest that's unlocked after completing all four role quests, and the same for all five facets of crafting/gathering.
    I've always wanted some kind of incentive for leveling multiple jobs/classes and this seems like a fair way to do it.

    It is certainly something I wanted to see to motivate or reward players that level multiple Jobs beyond their individual Job storyline even if they don't use that job once they finish the Job storyline.

    Though Summoner got it a bit easier since they can unlock 2 of the 4 due to Summoner/Scholar double Job roles when leveling only with 1 of the Jobs. So players who only want to just unlock the Finale Job Role Quest will best find leveling Summoner/Scholar a more time efficient path.

    So, with most bait being removed and condensed into two types for ARR zones...

    ...that's going to make big fish a lot harder to acquire.

    I'm not aware of ARR and HW Bait being removed. My understanding is that these new baits are being added AS options so that players can carry less bait around as a convenience. If a player's intent is to catch a specific fish only, then using the correct bait that will focus on their target fish and minimizes the amount of extraneous fish that could potentially be caught should still be a thing.

    Existing bait isn't being removed. These new ones are just an option.
