Healer feedback Discord!

Hi all,

Following the big changes to healer on FFXIV, and the strong feelings that people aren't quite happy with what they are seeing I have decided to make a discord to help us:

-to consolidate info to prepare for a nice constructive thread to upvote and bring to the development teams attention post launch of Shadowbringers
-theorycraft and come up with possible solutions.
-create a positive environment where we can achieve this, so because of this I will not be permitting healers who are against healer-DPS and utility into the discord, as it's just deconstructive and looking for trouble, none of the changes that will spawn from this discord will affect you so you have no reason to worry.

I dont think consolidated threads are that useful, unless you say that the WHM one for 4.0 was successful even though it took a bit more than two years for changes to happen to lilies.

You are correct, I guess it's just a futile attempt to try and make it easier for us to gather info so they can use it for 6.0 at the latest.

I really like this idea and I hope we can really gather all information and make a big thread even though it might have not helped in 4.0, why not try again? If SE wants to check the feedback after launch, it would be a fine thread for them to see and read.

I'm not sure if a consolidated thread would really be more useful than simply flooding every social media source at this point. Have consolidated threads proven more effective in the past? If anything we need to take our feedback and maybe put it on the JP forum. I've heard they pay a little more attention to that one.

You are correct, which is why if we have a place to thouroughly discuss we can prevent flooding these forums, then we can make a decent consolidation of all the discussions making it easier for them to read or ask questions for live letters I guess.

I actually meant the opposite. Flooding is more obvious than one thread right? If our goal is to give feedback? One thread can get buried, but a whole flood in every direction (especially by influencers)? That sends a message. That being said, Feedback has to be reasonable, well-thought out, and politely stated. If people are rude or ill-thought out, it makes the feedback easy to ignore.

I see, well I can only hope that whatever means we choose to make our feedback by, we can someohow get our feedback across one way or the other! ^^ You are definately correct.
