Hey, I had a similar issue happen a while back. They stopped accepting all forms of payment from me and it was super frustrating. What happened was I was trying to buy something from mog station and something went wrong. They think may have mistyped credit card info. I know I didn't because I keep all my info in a word doc for easy copy pasting. Either way the transaction set off a flag to them and they temporarily locked me out. I kept trying to make the purchase because nothing said I had been locked out at that point. Each time I tried I was extending a lock out timer behind the scenes. I had to wait 2 months for the lock out to wear off. My advice is just wait a month or two (maybe call them in the meantime) and try again later. I'd bet something similar happened to you.
SE also has a $100 limit for what you can spend on your account per month. I remember asking someone about it when I hit it once accidentally and got an answer of this was in place before FFXIV; they do have some sort of gambling game and this was some countermeasure to those that'd happily gamble every fund away. They won't take your funds at all and won't give you an error of any kind. It'll just close like it processed and nothing gets creditted; nothing will come out of your bank/card and there will be no block. When it happened t me, I had no idea what was going on. I just knew nothing would process until 30 days were up, then everything was back to normal once more.
I don't know if you did hit that limit, but that might be another thing to keep in mind for the future. I could see buying a 6-month (or 3-month) sub, plus story skip, plus job skip and maybe some fashion or a mount would hit that limit.
I just realized you're not talking about the Square Enix Store you're talking about the MogStation, my bad. Yeah I would definitely contact their CS you could even call them Just do a Internet search for their customer service line and give them a call.

I've had this happen to me, too. I figured out that the problem was my internet browser; it has compatibility issues with the payment system used by the Mogstation.
I now just use Microsoft Edge for Mogstation purchases, and it works just fine.
She's got a chicken to ri-ide, she's got a chicken to ri-i-ide...
She's got a chicken to ride, this game's from Square!
pretty sure SE didnt like Brave browser. i cant even make a SE account with Brave browser.
OP do you use steam at all? This happened to me a while ago when a payment didn't go through. I was still able to make purchases using my steam wallet though.
I remember buying multiple copies of ARR when it was on sale for something like $3.00 CAD a few years ago. After I bought the second one and tried to register it SE blocked my credit card. I did end up having to go through customer support and it was one of the strangest experiences I've ever had dealing with a company. I had to photo copy my drivers licence for them-- like they even know what an Ontario drivers licence is supposed to look like. I remember emailing them back and forth and spending time on the phone as well. I also had to explain to them why I wanted to buy three copies of the game. It was definitely a little extra on their part-- all because I wanted to spend $9.00
