Collectors Edition Mount?

So i got the collectors edition a couple days ago and i just found out that there could be a mount waiting for me somewhere. This "Coeurl" thing.
How do i get it?
I have searched around and some say that you claim it through the Mog Station? I just logged on my Mog Station and i cant find anything.

Help greatly appreciated!

Are you refering to ARR Collector Edition ? I believe so since that's where you get the Coeurl mount.

Normally, if you registered your game on the Mogstation, you should receive it throught mog mail in the game. There are moogles scattered in cities that allow you to pick up mail. You'll get a notification at the top right of your screen with a little enveloppe when you will receive a mail.

You can't use mounts until you have joined a Grand Company thought so for the moment, it won't be much useful to you, but as you go throught the story, you'll be able to use it

Oh dear lol, forgive me but after a closer look i saw that i didnt actually get the collectors edition. I got the "Complete Edition" which doesnt state that there are any bonus in-game items awarded.

This "Coeurl" thing

I'm guessing you're not a long time Final Fantasy player if the memory of a Coeurl paralyzing your entire party and then brutally one-shotting one of your strongest party members hasn't been seered into your mind. It's right up there with Morbols Bad Breath, elusive Cactuars shooting thousands of needles at you and running away, and the ever so infamous "DOINK!"

If you want the extra Collector's Edition items, you can purchase a Collector's Edition upgrade through the Mogstation that adds the CE bonus items to a previously non-CE account. There are actually several of them, for A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Stormblood, and soon Shadowbringers, since each have different Collector's Edition items. (The coeurl mount comes from the ARR one.)

A CE or purchased mount will not give you access to riding any sooner than you'd have anyway, though. The use of mounts is unlocked when you earn your company chocobo mount in-game. Having others, like the coeurl mount, gives a purely cosmetic choice of a different looking mount. (It is a pretty cool looking one though, IMO.)

Don't remember the paralyzing so much, but Blaster, yes. Made me incredibly wary of encountering the open world varieties at first. Also expected those early game cactuars to be much more dangerous when I first started out.
