Fantasia bug with Shadowbringers?

I have heard of an interview with Yoshi-p where he talks about a bug with Fantasia causing story progress to be locked in ShB. I have tried googling it but I'm not finding anything about it.

Is this actually a thing? If it is can someone please link the interview in which he discusses it?

Well i have my progression already BLOCKED for me on doman enclave donations... I dont know is it because i used fantasia or because i had a long break from the game, either way i cant donate anything despite all quest finished in doman enclave. SO technically a bug is still there and they have no idea how to fix it.

You're probably referring to when he joked about how you won't be able to go inside the Dwarf (Lalafel) houses on the First if your race is too large to fit through the door, and if you want to explore inside them you would need to fantasia.

I don't recall him saying any sort of progression would be locked behind it though, or that fantasias are bugged, else they would probably have a post up on the Lodestone warning us of such a thing.
