Aspiring Tank looking for helpful folks!

Hello.

I have played Final Fantasy XIV off and on since ARR started. I have generally stuck to DPS roles as it has been the easiest to deal with on relearning content, since I don't really know anyone else that plays. It's easier for a DPS to get away with a mistake or two. I don't want it to sound like I just get bored quickly and quit the game. I still fully enjoy the game even when I decide to go on hiatus. The overall issue is that I'm not exactly a "social butterfly". I tend to take a bit of time to warm up to folks, and pretty much every FC I've been in when I come back is basically social and devoid of a decent player count. So eventually after playing alone for so long, I take a break as to avoid burning myself out.

So that is a bit of backstory on me. I am really excited about Shadowbringers, and I would like to learn how to tank with a group of folks that understand that beforehand. I have a level 66 pld currently, but that is pretty much from occasional scenario missions, hunts, and tribe dailies... easy stuff. I play pretty much all day/night on weekends (EST time zone). I would really like to explore both new and old content as a tank with a good group of folks.
