Downloads aside, 7 gig is hella small for an expansion even with these low polygons and textures...

I'm not saying there won't be another download for sure, but the size of ex1 is 5GB, ex2 is 6.6GB, and ex3 after this download is 4.34GB. That all seems perfectly in line considering the first two expansions include two years of patch content each. The remaining 3.1GB or so would be for the main game files (new gear, mounts, job actions everyone can see even if they can't obtain).

Continually getting "Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][10009]" even after switching to another connection and swapping DNS, for the last 45 minutes straight. Really not sure what it wants me to do at this point.

The patch servers are probably in full capacity. Wait a bit and try again.

Hey Guys, is the Download on Ps4 XMB enough or do i have to Download any update inside the FFXIV Client like usually happens?. I want to sleep a little bit to rest before the lauch, but i'm afraid that i have to Download something later and miss some hours for that reason ( 10MB only, took me around 4 hours to download the 8GB Patch today ).

I got a relatively small download for my launcher, definitely not the 7-8gb download that others are getting. When I load up the launcher though, nothing else downloads. I'm kind of getting nervous that something went wrong, and wanted suggestions on what to do?

Did you log in at all, or just loaded up the launcher? I had a small update then had to login to the launcher to download the rest of the patch

I logged into the launcher, got the acceptance page where you agree to licensing, then it was the 7500~ some odd MB download and that was it ;;

You're good to go. 7500 MB is 7.5 GB, so that's about right. ^_^
