It's not buyer's remorse. I bought the items I bought because I thought they had an amazing design and would have bought the female version if I had had a female character at the time. I also bought the mount and I have said nothing about it because it can be used by anyone. I never thought about the gender restriction because I wasn't thinking about changing, even so I could have never imagined the gender lock issue and when I thought of becoming a Viera I was sure I would be able to change them because I knew you could trade similar items in the game. It was only yesterday, when I was getting ready for ShB when I realised. The thing is there is no point in having them being gender locked when you have to pay for them and when you have to pay in order to change into a gender locked race. I am losing the capacity to use an item I bought on my character, which is the reason I bought it in the first place.
Then you haven't wasted your money. You admit you're happy with your purchase. You got what you wanted and you knew what you were getting when you bought it. Not liking that you can't do more with what you bought, after knowing what the restrictions on it are, is just silly. It tells you when you're buying it that it's for male or female only for the items that are.

If it's not buyer's remorse, then it's throwing a tantrum. Take your pick.

You mention other restictions, but the difference is those don't involve real money. If I change GC I will be able to do so free of charge and get all their items and mounts ingame. If I use Fantasia to change my race, I'll be able to buy their racial exclusive items ingame too. However, if I use a Fantasia to change my gender, I'll lose value on the money I have spent. If I change into a Viera, everytime I open my glamour dresser and see any of the items I'll think: "There goes my money for not being a fortuneteller."

To make things clear again, I understand the situation, but I think it's wrong to make players feel bad when they are forced to choose either to spend over 13 euros again or lose the value of their items because they weren't able to see the future 2 years before. After all, the experience should be focused on making players comfortable and happy. I'm not asking them to give free items or to lose money. It has already been bought. I just think it should be made tradeable like other items or unisex like they seemed to be heading with some previous decisions.
It's not a matter of fairness. They made a product with restrictions that they clearly notify the buyer about. Saying "it's not fair" when you ignore the product description is just childish.

We clearly have different opinions and different manners, so let's leave it here.

This has to be some of the most twisted nonsensical "logic" I've seen. The whole point of purchasing these outfits is for them to have extended use on your character for the foreseeable future. They clearly don't if you change gender, especially if you happen to prefer your change. Calling this buyer's remorse or "throwing a tantrum" is blatantly white knighting SE, especially considering they already allow you to swap some outfits... just conveniently not the expensive ones. Granted, I wager this is more an oversight than necessarily greed. Regardless, the OP, and others in their position, want the full value of their purchase. Being told you must remain male or female otherwise said purchase is rendered item bloat until you switch back means they are inherently losing value.

It's a simple fix at the end of the day. The OP isn't asking for a refund. They want the equivalent outfit for their soon-to-be female character.

    Think about that line though.
Extended use on your character. Then you change your character.

I am of the opinion that anything with both gender options (some don't have such), it should absolutely be exchangeable. But I also won't throw a fit about it because I know how these things be and SE likes money.
