    Is this right? I sent my daughter a Recruit A Friend invite, so she buys the game and installs it. I help her get logged in only to find every single server in the game is closed to new players?
    How is that supposed to work?

    Every single server? If it is really that bad, try again sometime early in the morning or so. Should be several servers open for character creation then.

    yes, it does happen that every single server can get congested, but that is usually only for a couple hours. statuses are updated every 2 hours i think.
