Housing relocation ends up being another way that people can RMT and house sell. Please just put the same forced timer on it that new buyers have. New players and buyers are never going to get new houses at this rate

Bad title as relocation already has a timer...
No, it doesn’t. When new players want a house they have to fight the invisible timer and other people by repeatedly clicking the placard. Anyone who already has a house can instantly relocate to that plot. On worlds with no spots and one becoming available, this means that if the timer takes 20 hours, people could be waiting most of that when anyone who already has a house can just come in and relocate instantly. Yes their plot becomes available but then that restarts the invisible timer for the same issue. How is that fair on anyone who doesn’t already have a house?
I'm just saying your title is wrong/misleading as there is a 5 minutes timer between relocations. The previous housing system was fair as it rewarded players who saved enough gil. But since we can't have nice things nowadays, now we got this.
I’m sorry but 5 minutes is irrelevant seeing as the invisible timer on new people buying the plot is believed to be any time between 30 minutes to 24 hours. This isn’t confirmed of course because there is no official rules/guidelines on it. That same person could then take back their previous plot before the invisible timer gets anywhere near new buyers being able to even think about it

You do realize that when someone relocates they free up a plot somewhere else right? With the addition of a new housing area or the addition of new/additional wards there is the possibility they'll adjust the current relocation/purchasing rules. We'll have to wait and see.
LaylaTsarra you do realise that I did address that by saying when there’s literally only one open housing plot on the entire world and the new players are all trying to get it for 20+ hours that it’s unfair that someone comes in and just takes it by relocating which then resets the timer. The new players then have to wait on the new only open plot and hope that someone doesn’t relocate againYou do realize that when someone relocates they free up a plot somewhere else right? I understand that but that is/was the rationale as to why housing transfers are allowed and why they were even permitted during the follow up release of Shirogane housing along side the ability of FC housing to buy first. Perhaps there will be new rules when new wards and a housing district is added we'll have to wait and see.LaylaTsarra you do realise that I did address that by saying when there’s literally only one open housing plot on the entire world and the new players are all trying to get it for 20+ hours that it’s unfair that someone comes in and just takes it by relocating which then resets the timer. I recently clicked a placard for over 8 hours to get a house (any house) on Balmung and was personally happy to be able to transfer to a poolside when the houses all went poof.
So basically you want to see housing transfers eliminated even though anyone transferring gives up a spot for that transfer and then have the same timer applied to them. Perhaps you'll get your wish when those housing additions come. I doubt we'll see any changes to the rules prior to that.

I can respect wanting the best spots, but there needs to be some way of allowing new buyers to actually have a chance, whether it’s fc or personal, new buyers are getting shafted. Waiting hours to MAYBE get a house is neither productive nor healthy and does not promote enjoyment and then having the timer be reset because of relocation is even worse. And people being able to have multiple houses definitely does not help matters.I understand that but that is/was the rationale as to why housing transfers are allowed and why they were even permitted during the follow up release of Shirogane housing along side the ability of FC housing to buy first. And housing transfer is fine when it doesn’t reset the invisible timer and screw over anyone who has been waiting literally hours for a plot. If it’s on the same invisible timer then great, equal chances all round
