    I feel like the mogstation is greedy, because they originally released outfits for like 8 and 10 bucks. And then Minfilla was the first 'special' outfit worthy of 15 dollars. Then they randomly price hiked things to 18 bucks! And now every new outfit is 18 bucks. It's like they were testing the water to see how much they can milk people. If they weren't greedy--then every new outfit would be 10-15 bucks.

    Cosmetic only? Not quite! Two-seater mounts provide a unique advantage over other people. So does that Motorcycle that'll give faster mount speed in SB. (Though the introduction of the 4 seater car kinda invalidates the two-seater mount argument, lol. So good on them!). It used to be you couldn't get a two-seater unless you paid money or you had a friend recruit you and pay for a sub. Either way--someone had to pay!

    --------

    Though for all the crazy insane prices. I do have to say that fantasias are reasonable at 10 bucks compared to WoW's 25/30. So there's that. IT's not all doom and gloom!

    ============

    Personally, my biggest outrage is that all items are character limited besides some mounts. It should all be account wide.

    Not every new outfit is $18, the majority of the past new inclusions are actually about $12. Their pricing seems to be all over the place though. Some things are $18, others are $12, honestly I can't find a reason why some things are priced higher than others on that shop. One reason I don't purchase the majority of the stuff offered. I have bought stuff, but mostly on impulse - which is probably a problem of mine in itself (mostly fantasia). I only have one store mount, and i bought it on sale when it was like $16 (account wide carbuncle - so my alt has it too!)!

    I don't think they necessarily should. The cash shops in that game, or even something like ESO is completely different. By the way ESO regularly sells "limited items" such as mounts at $40+ and their big houses cost like $100, but it's buy to play with an "optional sub"! I do think ESO specifically has good value for the sub, for what it is however, so don't get me wrong, but free premium currency is actually a tactic to get you to spend more on cash shops (with the way those are designed), it's actually very predatory. Both SWTOR and ESO have loot boxes, "limited time" loot boxes, by the way.

    Carbuncle mount is a beast. I love small mounts, because I hated in Warcraft how larger mounts would cover up quest givers when you land on them, lol... I'm glad it's account-wide, but I do miss some of my outfits and emotes on my alts. Though I mostly use my alts to store items and to act as additional auction slots. If someone were to ever have a 'pay to win' conversation-it'd be about how paid retainers give players an edge on the market by providing additional auction slots. But you can get around that by massing alts! I have 1 main and 4 alts, so 10 retainers to sell crap!

    The mogstation items are OPTIONAL.
    I buy from time to time, and if it helps funding stuff to the game i'm fine by it.
    If you're not, then pass on these items.
    Not everything should be given to you for free!

    At least the two-seater mount is account-wide, so I think the cost is fair.
