They don't charge any more for the mounts than blizzard does
same with the pets
Also their level boost is 60 DOLLARS, 3 times what FF14 charges
It's really not that bad.

'Over-priced' suggests that you have a comparison point for what the 'standard' price should be. FFXIV's cash shop is one of the more reasonably priced and sensible cash shops (looking at you, ESO mounts locked inside lootboxes). It's really not that expensive.
They also don't advertise the mogstation in game, don't add stuff to it too frequently, and add plenty of free mounts, minions, outfits, emotes etc. to the game for people to earn.
P.S we don't pay for the expansions with our subscriptions. We pay for the content in-between the expansions, of which there is an awful lot, and not all of the money we give to FFXIV through subs and expansion sales goes to the dev team - Square Enix as a whole takes a lot into their pot.
They add to it far more than I would like, but yeah it could definitely be worse.'Over-priced' suggests that you have a comparison point for what the 'standard' price should be. I love the fact that the cash shop is called Optional items.
Its literally all cosmetics and you don't need it.
translation: I really want these OPTIONAL ITEMS that I dont need but they're too expensive lower the price.
"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."
Sorry OP, you're just blatantly wrong here. Say your opinions about the mog station all you want, that doesn't change the facts...
They're not micro transactions. At 7-25 dollars those are just transactions. Hell, probably even macro transactions with how many fantasia addicts I know.
My biggest problem with the micro transactions on Mogstation is the fact that they are locked to one character. I can live with the pricing on much of it but they get very little of my money because of the locking.
OP's post gave me the whole soccer mom 'I want to speak to the manager so I can show how mad I am' vibe. Only made me laugh.
It's optional, luxury content. The virtual equivalent of going into a supermarket and seeing luxury goods on sale. They're not targeted at everybody and anybody. They're specifically targeted at those with a disposable income.
