Over-priced Microtransactions!!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

I think the mounts, emotes, fantasias, etc are all fairly priced.

However, I think they need to either reconsider the glamour and housing/old event item prices or sell them in bulk/a collection. $5 for a wind chime that looks like a vendor item? $5 for a single poster?

$24 for a mount that you will buy once but it will be available to all of your characters should you make an alt for whatever reason. Yep...totally a rip off being able to always have an account wide optional mount available to you whenever you need it.

For real though in terms of items from the cash shop, FFXIV prices are decent, especially when compared to WoW. If you can't afford a $24 optional mount then that sucks but its not going to be the end of the world.
(ESO prices are rough estimates based off of Crown purchase prices)

WoW - $25 (used to be $30)

Single Character Mounts:
FFXIV - $12
ESO - $10 - $30 (I couldn't tell if these mounts were single character or account wide)
WoW - None

Minions:
FFXIV - $5 - $6.99
WoW - $10
ESO - $5 - $12

Race Change:
FFXIV - $10 (Fantasia)
WoW - $25
ESO - $25

Appearance Change:
FFXIV Mostly free w/ the Aesthetician, otherwise $10 (Fantasia)
WoW - $15 (can't change race, only your sex and your racial features not available by the barber)
ESO - $10 (I don't know if ESO has a barber or aesthetician type npc)


Faction Change:
FFXIV - No Equivalent
WoW - $30
ESO - No Equivalent


Server Transfer:
FFXIV - $18
WoW - $25
ESO - None

Name Change:
FFXIV - $10
WoW - $10
ESO - $20

(Was actually surprised WoW and FFXIV are the same price)


If you really want to go talk about getting ripped off and over priced microtransactions, go play any game that has either loot boxes or is a free to play game lol. FFXIV is fairly cheap in comparison and it's all optional.
