Over-priced Microtransactions!!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

You are brainwashed to the micro transaction system, it's ok for you if you like it and buy it. Here, I'm not buying those item, and I will continue to criticize and not encourage that system. It's ok for you if it's how you see things, but that's not my point of view on gaming. Sadly for me, as long as people like you exixt, people who are ok with this system and buy stuff from it, well that system will stay in place. I just wish that people could stop buying from those microtransaction. I don't blame you, but don't try to convince me that it's ok to have a cash shop AND a subscription, I will always disagree.

Literally they have stated that what I said is the case. If people weren't buying the cash shop items, they wouldn't exist at all. We wouldn't be getting them for free. The seasonal items of course are my opinion on the matter.. but don't blind yourself to the truth that we aren't being denied items to put them on the cash shop. The exclusive cash shop cosmetic items were made by a separate team that wouldn't even exist if the shop wasn't there.

You are welcome to your opinions about whether a subscription game should have microtransactions at all, but don't delude yourself into thinking you'd be getting those items if the shop didn't exist.

Your example doesn't work because here, you paid for the car, then you paid for extra. Here, we paid the game when we buy it, and we keep buying it every months. I would not complain to anything in the cash shop if they remove the subscription, but since we pay a subescription so they have income to develop the game, I expect to have access to the content, since I already paid for it. I know it can be hard to understand, but that's what it is. There is no argument that make sense to justify to have to pay again when we already have a subscription. As I said, it's subscription/access to everything, or freetoplay/cash shop. Trying to justify both is just greedy and there is no justification. That's just a big problem from the gaming model we have lately.

The team doing the cash shop items are a separate team than the actual Devs. If people didn't buy them, they wouldn't be there at all. Seasonal items being added are a grey area, but understandable as an incentive to keep your subscription going to acquire the items on first release but allowing a chance to pick it up later.

I have FF14 - i pay for it - i sub 10$ every month = unfair, "optional" stuff should be free
I have a Car - i pay for it - i pay the gas every WEEK which cost DOUBLE (even TRIPLE) the amount of FF14 sub = its fair

its not just FF14, its not just dealing with car, thats how every market works. clothes shop, electronic shop, everything, you buy a new iphone and the staff will ask you for "optional" stuff like the stand, casing, extra charger cable, etc. and you tell me i ask them to "give me all of those for free because i buy your iphone" ?

I guess its rather subjective, but I would agree that some of the stuff on the mogstation are a wee bit overpriced. I image it depends largely on where you are from, and how much you make.

I would also agree that there are VERY few cheaper or better priced in game stores around. Or fairer in the content offered.

My main complaint remains the same : rather than price, what bothers me is when items are not account wide. It is not alt-friendly.

Also everything in the mogstore is optional. Don't like it don't buy it. I know people will say thats not an excuse they pay a sub! Well, I can't help you there. It's either you buy it or you don't.

Square Enix is killing it right now. I'm such a sucker for good games and always buy overpriced vanity items in support of good games. It's only overpriced if you're one who has grown accustomed to the stage four rectal cancer that is mobile games, a cancer that is aggressively spreading to console and pc platforms. Cheap games have cheap shops...
