Yeah SE could care less, and I really dont even think its a problem. The more mats available the better, that means more crafting and more production. Sure gatherers make less money, but thats how it should be. Besides, HQ mats still sell for a lot.

The way I see, SE just made logging nodes like mining. Most mining nodes have 4-6 potential drops.
