1.21 Gathering Changes

I have recieved this plant as a reward for lvl 40 guild leves at broken water.

Prickly Pineapples aren't listed among the items that can no longer be obtained from gathering, but they don't show up in the loot list for any area. Is the gathering table still incomplete?

Wolves in the halatali leves drop prickly pineapples as loot, idk where else to find them.

My mistake about the pineapples - they already got removed from the loot lists in 1.19.

Wasn't an issue before, but pineapples are suddenly interesting again

whats the point in removeing a item from gathering and moveing it into a lev mob drop?

ive noticed that the salt leeks also tend to drop from the same sweet spot that yew logs do.

but they sweet spot on the strike zone seems to be top area of sector 1.

aviha is there any reason why the sweet spot for yew logs gives yew branchs more then anything?

35 botanist i would have hoped would be the best to stop getting randoms.

from what ive seen tho on the salt leeks the have the same remainder D as the yew log.

can anyone else confirm the salt leeks being at log 1-2? ive hit both spots and gotten them before so im just wondering if anyone else has this happen at humbleearth

items are not all equally common, so even if you're on the sweet spot for something, you might get something else more often. But the sweet spot for a particular item will give you that item as often as you can get it anyways.

Salt leek is spot -1, bar D, zone 1, yield 4.

Currently logging data for Botany - Emerald Moss and I'm at 48 tree gathers and not a single Lavender hit. Can anyone confirm/deny whether Lavender can really be found off of trees in Emerald Moss like the patch notes say?

Edit:
I'm probably close to 80 tree-gathers now and still no Lavender. I'm going to move on and see if it was mislabeled and is actually somewhere else...

Edit2:
Just logged data for Drybone. Despite what the patch notes say, I can't find Ash Logs after 64 chops making sure to hit all 5 logging points. Can anyone confirm/deny that, too?

Okay folks! My Botany Spreadsheets are all updated to reflect the changes made in patch 1.21. Enjoy!

I manually and personally checked all the of zones. There were a couple of inconsistencies with the patch notes that I ran across, so if anyone can fill me in, that would be very helpful.

1) I was unable to log any Lavender off of trees in Emerald Moss. Can anyone report that they have obtained some from there?

2) I was unable to log any Ash Logs off of trees in Drybone. Can anyone report that they have obtained some from there?

i see sagolii sage is from iron lake. I have been there and tried to get it but have not had any success. I ended up getting alot of mistletoe which doesnt seem to be on your list for iron lake. Can any1 confirm if they have experianced the same as me.

Thank you for the report! I will check it out. Admittedly, I stopped gathering in several zones once I had logged all the data for the items listed in the patch notes. I'll report back with some results shortly.

In the mean time, the best suggestion I can give is to set your Aim at -5. Sagolii Sage is definitely in Iron Lake.
