This all started with the Steam Promotion for Heavensward, when I was excitedly awaiting for my code, since my purchase of the Starter Account was back in April, and my account on Square was on early May. I checked the subscription, enabled it, and waited.
Soon, it was Monday and my inbox was empty. Therefore, I decided to take action. I nearly gave up, purely because I didn't know which support I was supposed to use-- FFXIV or SEA, but I eventually found the Promotional option on SEA and went with there. I was, of course, thoroughly disappointed when I figured out that support was exclusive to the US.
What's this?
You mean that only because I'm Brazilian, I cannot approach support? That even though I'm a paying costumer, I have no right to contact support?
Because, that's exactly what it means. I can't send a support ticket to SE because my address is Brazilian and the tickets do not allow non-US addresses.
I cannot stress this enough. I pay the subscription, I payed for the base-game, I payed for Shadowbringers expansion and yet... Yet, I cannot seem to be able to sort my problem through support, because support discriminates non-US based clients. I'm lucky that I found out with a minor issue such as this, because this lack of concern for non-US clients is appalling and disappointing.
