    Holy was actually somewhat powerful in XI... it didn't do anything "special" (damage-wise) because it didn't consume your entire MP pool. It was high-cost and what we thought was a long recast, but in XIV it wipes MP and has an even longer recast. @_@;



    It seems like the "Holy" we've been given is simply an ability for when we're solo and need to run away?! THM/BLM can bind better with blizzara without a full MP wipe--no reason in a party. But I thought jobs were supposed to be FOR PARTY PLAY? ; ; Also, as I understand it, the damage on Holy is negligible as well. A full MP wipe should be part of Benediction if anything... not our only defense against a horde of mobs. (Read: d e f e n s e. Does not include offensive spells, I'm aware of aerora/stonera. Holy seems more suited to running away than for attacking.) If you want an ability for "OMG I'VE LET MY ENTIRE PARTY DIE, NOW I NEED TO RUN AWAY!" situations, that's fine, but please don't give it the name "Holy," which I've associated with powerful light-based attacks?
