    can dancers make a chain of dancers?

    Never played any FF before FFXIV so dancer is all new to me.

    I was pondering that Dancer has partner - ok.
    So, can dancers make a chain? Can dancer 1 partner dancer 2 who partners dancer 3 who partners a tank? For some kind of a chain buff?

    They can, but the buff won't 'chain'.
    Dancer 1 will buff the damage of Dancer 2, but if Dancer 2 is buffing Dancer 3, then the buff Dancer 1 has on 2 will be mostly wasted.

    Buffing other Dancers might not be the optimal choice if their base damage is lower than that of other dps jobs to compensate for their utility.
