Easy & small change to make typing in multiple crossworld linkshells much faster

With multiple crossworld linkshells coming in 5.0, we're probably going to have to type five different symbols, that are also all over the place on a normal keyboard, before we can actually start typing our sentence. When you use crossworld linkshells once or twice a day this is fine, but if you have a crossworld static and you use it 200-300 times per day, mixed with other chatchannels, then this will start to get tiresome very fast I reckon, so I would like to suggest the following:

For normal linkshells we use this:

/l1
/l2
/l3

In 5.0 we will most likely have to type this for crossworld linkshells:

/cwl1
/cwl2
/cwl3

So why not use this for crossworld linkshells instead:

/ll1
/ll2
/ll3

or

/c1
/c2
/c3


1 L for normal linkshell, 2 L's for crossworld linkshell. Super easy, fast and extremely easy to remember.

(Or at the very least give us the option to change the command to something else of our own choosing)

Looks like a nice suggestion, and there are some commands with more than one short version of the command name, so allowing e.g. both /cwl2 and /ll2 to work and do the same thing so people can use whichever they like shouldn't be a problem. I do have to wonder about one thing, though:

At 200-300 times a day, wouldn't that represent a high enough focus of your chat to set your chat window to that channel, so you only have to enter the channel command when sending a message somewhere else? Or are you sending 200-300 messages a day to multiple places, interspersed too tightly to anticipate where your next message will go?

This is a good idea! And yes, it would be nice to be able to change the command ourselves.

It's really not. That sort of encoding scheme isn't very intuitive, and the two Ls don't carry meaning beyond "linkshell". What's the second L supposed to mean?? /c# or /cl# would be far more meaningful.



But really, we should just have linkshells, with /l# commands. We don't need linkshells and cross-world linkshells.
