What type of dancing does Dancer do?

Hello. This is the first forum post I've done, so apologies if I do something wrong.

So, I'm not sure if this has been asked before but I was wondering what kind of dancing the Dancer job does.
I'm really curious but don't know how to find out, so I figured I'd ask on here and see if anyone knows.

But really from looking at the game play vids it looks like they have their own style not really anything based in RL ( like waltz, tango, etc).

Their steps names (Jeté, Emboite, Entrechat, and Pirouette) are taken from ballet, although none look like the actual movements, and their AF gear is belly-dancer inspired. However, they seem to use an odd type of freestyle.

To me it looks like Dancers use a mix of Irish dance/jig with the traditional no arm movement replaced by ballet arm movements and flourishes.

Honestly when I first saw the male DNC at least, it looks like they're 'Bending'. It reminds me of a more elegant movement of 'Monk' - but I suppose martial arts can also be considered a 'Dance.'

Bending is martial arts - they put a lot of effort into the choreography, and the movements for each element come from a different specific fighting style.
