Housing needs to be addressed.

Just spent the last 12 hours standing at a sign with 20 other people as they came and went throughout the entire session. This is literally the worst, most frustrating, punishing, and absolutely unenjoyable way to do this. Squeenix needs to figure out something that isn't horrid like the current problems. I feel like my only options to ever own a home is to leave my server or leave my FC. That is pretty horrible when your only options to attend content is to leave your friends behind.

Whenever a house opens up on my server it's crowded by dozens of bots before it actually becomes available. It makes obtaining a house as a legitimate player (or Free Company) nigh-impossible. How in the world -anyone- would think this system is better than just forking over Gil to a house flipper is far beyond me. You can earn Gil reliably and relatively easily. You'll almost certainly never win against a small army of bots and your physical health will suffer if you try as a legitimate player.

What about us who don't have unlimited time to spend on trash systems such as this? Your argument doesn't add much value to the issue. I am sure people with lots of free time would rather not click a placard for 20 hours to MAYBE get a house MAYBE.

Sorry to disappoint you, but no. Most people on this forum prefer what we have now over the previous system because they start having convulsions when they think about reselling houses. (don't mention how you can still sell houses, they haven't figured that one yet)

Sorry to disappoint you, but from what I see on the forums is people disliking this system. This isn't a fix. It is a roadblock to 99.99% of the population. Praise to the .01% of unemployed people who love clicking placards all day, this system is for them.

Forum join dates say nothing about how long someone has been playing the game, just when they actually joined the forums. Looking up her character shows that she's been around since early 2017, so she's by no means a new player; please don't go assuming as such. As for the actual topic, which has had about 18 million similar threads posted before, yes, housing is a problem and the system needs to be changed. It's better than what it used to be, but it still has issues.

My recommendation is to wait until new housing wards get released.
