I have to find the post again but I believe it sends you on an alternate route if all 8 go into the same portal. We know for certain you cannot get this on the "AF path".

I swear when we first tried out the dungeon we all went the same way and every time we cleared a room it sent us back to the start. Something to test out on our next runs!

Last chest might be unlocked by incapacitating all 3 heads.

We tested like a million combinations, bats last, bee swarm last, doblyns last, we tried kiting mobs into the ports to see if they would port out, we tried killing all ants in one room, porting out, then going and killing all ants in the other room, then tried again killing all ants last.

We desperately attempted every retarded idea we could come up w/ that compares of equal retardation to killing a lone Orobon in the back of a Chocobo Stables for Dzemael... Only thing we didn't try was killing the Pieste last in the one Tier 3 room... Only one of the 2 rooms had a pieste in it, and we decided to do doblyns last each and it didn't work. I'd be surprised if that Pieste was the ticket to the 5th chest though.

Yet you didn't test what I thought what be the most obvious thing to try: The achievement, as I mentioned only about 5 posts above.

AV's achievement seems like it would be the "5th chest" so Cutters Cry might be the same. They could be the 'hint' on how to get the 5th chest. Our LS was going to try this last night but ran out of time, and I dont think we doing Cutters until Thursday again to test but if no one has by then we are most def. going to try to get it to see if thats what gives you the final chest.

Ah interesting, I didn't see it mentioned on lodestone forums yet and I don't really go other FFXIV places when I am at work. Thanks for the update.

That is our 1st speed run where you can see the one on the right is the speed run chest. We think its something to do with getting all chests or something. We will be working on it through out the night but honestly we are all pretty tired lol. Hopefully stumble into something along the way x.x;.
