That is our 1st speed run where you can see the one on the right is the speed run chest. We think its something to do with getting all chests or something. We will be working on it through out the night but honestly we are all pretty tired lol. Hopefully stumble into something along the way x.x;.
Are you guys using MNK tank?

Wait did ya'll beat it with melee range dd's? If so, please show this to the whole server. People are already shouting for BLM/BRD only.
Just curious, but how does your MNK avoid the circle of sand traps in the last phase? I'm assuming the WAR is the tank so they don't really have to worry about it.
We made a few attempts at breaking all 3 heads and his tail yesterday in the hopes for the elusive 5th chest, but this was the main problem we kept running into. It seems there's no safe spot for melee DDs in the last phase. It's either eat his AA, eat breaths, eat traps, or all of the above.
As far as our incapacitation testing went, we were able to break the goat and lion head fairly easily, never really noticed if we broke the tail. The dragon head we're able to break if we let only the BRDs (2) DPS at the start because they're incredibly weak. But the task of breaking all 3 still eludes us.
Another problem is that the limbs grow back (possibly during each phase transition? Not sure). We also discovered that his legs can be broken as well lol. Wondering if anyone else has been testing the incapacitation theory. It might even be required to have all heads broken at the time of death, perhaps even his tail and legs as well, who knows. SE did say these dungeons were incredibly difficult, which we obviously know isn't true. But if this was the case for the five chest achievement, it would definitely be the most difficult task we've seen yet.
Only other theories I can think of at the moment are killing Chimera without letting any traps damage him, which would make a 5 chest run completely reliant on the party's DPS which makes getting the speed run chest more difficult. Or, the most obvious theory, getting all 6 chests. The former should be relatively easy to test.
Anyone else notice that some loot can appear in several different chests? Seems odd to me. We've gotten the subligar from 2 different chests.

Chests are linked.
5th chest found it!
