Is anyone getting a bit of post 1.21 lag? Everything seems to take a bit longer to respond, not sure if it's just me or not.

Yeah. its called more people are playing FFXIV after patch vs pre patch
what did you expect nobody would log in for the new patch?
That's fine and all, I was just wondering if it was just me or if it was the servers.
I don't notice any more server lag than normal, but i do seem to notice the graphics (mainly running around town) being a bit choppier despite my video card not working any harder.
only thing i noticed when i play pally hot buttons do not respond timely
gladiator is fast.. you press 1 or 2 and it does just that
Pally i press and nothing happens.. sometimes have to press 4 times in a row the same button before anything happens at all
So i am done with pally untill it works as good as with my glad
oops wrong section lol
I was going to post a thread about this actually. You're not imagining things - something has changed. It probably has to do with the 'interrupt casting while moving' nonsense they implemented. It screwed with the battle system in some way.
The closest I can get to quantifying it is that its not as bad as when you used to have wait completely for the last action to finish before entering the next action but its worse than the generous amount of time you had before patch.
Its like they tightened up the time you have before pre-entering your command. However its not consistent which I think is what really annoys me. Sometimes it does seem normal but other times I feel like I have to press a button a few times for it to register an action. This can really throw off your rhythm when its switching up all the time.
Definitely something going on, and I don't think its 'more people playing'. Let me clarify, there probably is general lag from more people playing in certain areas or on the servers overall but the changes in the battle system are likely something different....
