FF8, Maybe have a Ultimecia Castle alliance raid/dungeon separate from the Nier Raids, maybe a 16 man instead of 24 (2x8 instead of 3x8) or a 8 man (2x4), would have the switches that a alliance/party would need to stand on to help the other advance & maybe have different things limited with them being unlocked with each boss fight or have a level sync that increases for boss defeated (I'm thinking 8 mid bosses with Ultimecia herself in all her forms at the end, one group (1x8 or 1x4) gets a attempt at her, if they wipe then the other group gets a try, rewards could be a weapon from the characters for the respective jobs (a Squall gunblade for GBK (or whatever the abbreviation is for gunbreaker) or a Irvine gun for MCH for example), some unique items or other equipment along with possibly some FF8 themed mounts, minions & housing items.

Actually I think this would be a perfect time for the devs to pull off a FF8 event considering FF8's anniversary is coming up, Ultimecia's Castle would be a perfect setup indeed for raids!

I wonder though...will it be the Original Ultimecia or a FFXIV copy of her? I was just thinking about how Crystal Tower of this world was it's own thing as well. Maybe this Ultimecia would be a Allagan Scientist that managed to figure out Time/Space technology? Also she would know how to become a Primal as well just like the whole deal with Shiva? (Griever specifically). Let's say Ultimecia was tasked to prevent the fall of the Allagan Empire through Time/Space Technology by going back to the past, and something messed it up and now she was trapped into a pocket dimension along with her Castle.

She was also experimenting how to become a Primal for whatever devious reasons, I'm not sure how her final form would work though since it would fit right into Voidsent territory. There is so many ways to make this work really!

I'd honestly be really surprised at this point if Eden didn't end up being a FF8 themed raid at this point, considering it's very obviously named in reference to the FF8 summon in light of information from the live letter.

It's also been mentioned that "imagination" is an important theme of the raid, which gives them a new excuse to bring in classic bosses.
