Goblin Bouncers drop your pearls and they drop them quick. Duoed with a friend and we got enough to make both of us a full set of pearl items in just over 30 mins. (course it also helps to be quick on the claim game as there are usually other people there). So if you don't mind going to odd, out of the way, buttcrack of the world places, you will find them there.
Also, as a rank 50 cul can I just say THANK GOD there is a way to farm pearls directly...I always hated having to grind stacks of oysters for people when they wanted pearls. It wasn't exactly quick and I can make money quicker in other, quicker ways. (even pre 1.21).
...or you could all just wait another weekish...the price of them already dropped about 30% on my server....the jewelry made from them dropped about 20% in price already (last I looked).
I appreciate you sharing this information with the FFXIV community.
Really it's not a big deal that they drop them other than for HQ. It's really easy to make black pearls now as well, so they should be accessible for everyone.
I can hq this as cul very easily but takes time.. I think farming goblin bouncers would yield faster black pearls. Cuase the hq process is long and risky
Well, i confirm that goblin bouncers drop the pearls, i have actually all the black pearl jewelry +1, the drop rate wasnt the bad i thought, but you will have to kill goblins for a while, but its possible to get a lot of black pearls NQ and enough +1 for your jewelry in one afternoon![]()
I'm hating the bouncers. They've been more than generous with the nq pearls but when it comes to +1.... i won't believe it til i see one drop! that is just a couple hours of killing without a +1 dropping speaking through me.
