    Why do Red Mage’s new spells have identical names to existing ones?

    They have been given Veraero and Verthunder as AoE options, even though they already have spells with those names? It’s very confusing. Why couldn’t they just give Verwater and Verblizzard for AoE, SQUARE WHY??

    Its most likely going to be Veraero II and Verthunder II with the II missing from both spells in the media tour (I'm not aware if this happened at E3)

    If we ever do get Verwater and Verblizzard they'd most likely work different from how people have been suggesting they do, since mostly people (including myself) were wanting them as AoEs because we wanted something more than just Scatter spam rather than wanting those specific spells.

    They were given the Verthunder II and VerAero 2 treatment in the E3 build I believe.
