What is your ACTUAL reasoning for undercutting?

Sometimes if someone undercuts me, I start undercutting at 5-10k at a time until I can buy their thing and list it at the real price.

I sell so many of each item, I'll drop it 25k ... if you could just buy all of them now, that'd be great.
