So, my Miqo'te Monk is my original character. However, he is not the ONLY character I have ever tried to play. I have "wasted" time on several different characters over the years.

And I'm going to be honest; it kind of sucks.

You know what would be AMAZING, though?

If I could "merge" all of my different characters -- all quests completed, mounts and minions earned, cosmetics attained and/or unlocked, and the highest-level of each class/job -- making a single, "perfect" character.

Ideally, you could also change your "origins" (ie. changing your starting Class and City, as well as your ORIGINAL Grand Company, all of which is permanently marked in your Unending Journey, and also referenced any time you use a Fantasia).

My thinking is; the game clearly encourages you to play on a single character, anyways. I feel that this would give players the deepest, richest experience possible, because you'd no longer have to worry about "wasting" effort on a character you might one day abandon. Worst case scenario, you just "merge" them into one.

Of course, this is ultimately for my own well being; I want to be able to play an Au Ra or maybe even a Hrothgar, without having to worry about "hundreds of hours of play-time, completely going to waste". I've even bought both a story-skip AND a job-boost, and it STILL bothers me.

I dunno. Maybe it's something the Devs might give some minor consideration? At the very least, just make all our Achievements and cosmetics Account-wide, maybe?
