Wouldn't it be cool if you could get in-game achievements and titles for doing 24 mans, ex primals, or even savage fights completely in first person! XD

Sure. Until you wipe for the umpteenth time because half the raid can't see the targeting markers above their heads and the fire under their feet!
Fair point, but what if you could choose in the duty menu a "first person mode" and the game would alter how markers seen by players with on screen notifications.
First person can't overall work in a mmorpg unless the game is build around it from the start.
Elder scrolls online offer both first person and third but by playing it in first you can't see over half of the effects going on around you or at your characters feet.
Do Byakko EX in first person, particularly in the air phase. That should give you an achievement.
funnily enough, that wouldn't be too hard since the orbs follow certain patterns. One pattern has him launch one orb at all players with the other being he starts with launching 4 into the middle then they move out into a large X/+ shaped formation and follows the same formation order every pull if I recall, careful watching of other players would let you easily deduce where orbs are coming from and avoid them.
I'd personally want to see someone do Suzaku extreme first person. Between the DDR and having to physically turn your character to look at the symbols through the entire fight, It would be such a hectic attempt in first person.
No thanks. Last thing I want is to carry a bunch of assclowns using this as their newest excuse for why they couldn't do mechanics.
if I play any game in first person, I'll last about 5 minutes before I have to run and puke up my last meal.
Hmm...
No.
I mean, I get the appeal, really I do. But most MMOs aren't designed with 1st person in mind, and FF14 is no exception. It's not just because of what I said about markers over your head and fire under your feet, either.
In games like this, positioning is everything, and that includes your position in relation to others. If everyone needs to spread out, you need to check and double check every direction around you to make sure no one is near you. That takes only a simple glance with a zoomed out view, but in first person? The mechanic will go off long before you're certain you aren't near someone.
Conversely, if you need to stack up, and there are more than a few fights where you'll be spending a substantial amount of time stacked, you'll find yourself having a great deal of difficulty seeing anything through all the people in your face. This goes double for if you have special effects active. You'd go blind for all the explosions in your face!
Suffice it to say, the amount of work that would be needed to make it workable isn't worth it. And even then, at best they'd likely limit it to the less intensive fights. Like, say, Ifrit.
