To me, the only thing worth fixing is the damn awful AA used in this game. The shimmering is so distracting.

I use ReShade's Anti Aliasing.

Can't imagine playing FF-XIV with the muted standard colors.

I do too, but it doesn't work with dx11... or at least it doesn't seem to be in my case. I've also tried forcing it with just about every tool out there and nothing works, even running the game at 1440p (slightly better, but still there).

Works just fine with dx11 for me. Oo
I did need to update it at some point though and reconfigure everything from scratch b/c the old profiles wouldn't work.
