I don't see how me not having any serious attempts at Ultimate is relevant here. I personally would be estatic if a dungeon at level cap would pose a threat to me as a tank. But they just don't. I can pull wall to wall without fear, I don't have to CD the "tankbusters", hell, I even solo'd the 2nd boss of Hell's Lid from 50% on release as a Warrior! The dungeons are just not a threat and nobody in a sane mind will argue that either EX trials or Savage have been extremely difficult themselves spare from a few select fights. I understand the goal of Stormblood was to ease up the difficulty to allow more people to step into high level end game but they dialed it back too much.

The majority of challenge with most of the end game content in this game as it stands before Shadowbringers is finding enough competent people to form a group and do it. I wish game companies in general would stop dumbing down everything to appease the people that want everything but don't want to grow as a player and go the route of "if you really want it then get good enough to earn it". If that portion of the community cries about being "gated" out of content just point out that they're the ones gating themselves by refusing to improve themselves.

How is that response even relevant? All it does is make you look like one of the people I mentioned with toxic entitlement issues that has been dragging down the entire gaming industry in general. If you want to play the game by only pushing 3 buttons then feel free to do so. However don't cry like an entitled child when you're unable to clear content because you personally refuse to adapt and get better at the game and you've run out of people willing to carry you. Another thing missing in these people is integrity. In their mind they are never the one at fault. It has to be someone else's fault. The game developer made the game too hard, blah blah blah. This part generally extends to their life as a whole. One of the primary causes of this is too many people being more concerned about being liked so they make excuses for these people rather than just saying what needs to be actually said.

when people in his group cant even do basic mechanics and job rotation, he has any right to be upset. Its a group content, they should pull their weight, take the constructive feedback, improve themselves instead of throwing "you dont pay my sub".

Make easy/ easier content " this game is for dumb people, no need to play it anymore"

This is true for every mmo

The big question for wow : " Will they dare to make leveling, dungeon and questing harder?"
The big question for ff 14 " will they decide to include lvl boost and story skip with every new expansion ? "

FF 14 is "fine", the content for people who just want to que and play solo or minimal interaction is hard enough.... at least the dev always reminded us about the importance of mechanic.

Alliance Raid or ff 14 's LFR also follow this path of "Do mechanic"

At least when someone wipe in ff 14 it is because they are new or screw mechanic and not because they are not installing add-on
