Let's see some Monk parsers

I know it might be a little early for this since the patch just came out, but does anyone have dps numbers yet for Monk? I'd like to see numbers for a setup with full AF gear, using efficient skill rotation with available arc/lnc abilities included, vs other DD in their full AF.

In Aurum Vale, in any case, its very difficult to do a good rotation.

Coincutter: Pounce and Shoulder Tackle stuns take some priority and since you must evade his "swing" running to the front often isn't smart. I think I am low red/high yellow most of the fight (Fists of Fire is highest damage here) I know our BLM's are red entire fight so they probably are doing more but the Stun utility makes up for it IMO.

Mistress: Weak to fire so my AA was doing 120 per fist, and my Howling Fist was doing 1200's so I am riding red the entire fight. Pretty confident its the strongest class for straight damage on her, though you need the range and AE of the other classes in this fight as well. So I am happy since its designed to not just make everyone "Burn" it down with a bunch of the same class. When the ranged breaks off to kill the Vines, I can do a good 5% damage by myself on it before it moves.

-edit- Just did Morbol as ARC now, and never touched yellow threat. MNK does vastly superior DPS (to main boss) on that fight. ARC is better for add control though but its possible to do a mix I think. ARC hits for ~175 arrows every 5s, MNK autos are 3.3s so if we take common time (10s) MNK does 660 and ARC does 350. ARC's WS are also sorta terrible besides for QN (most hit for 200-400) where MNKs hit for 400-1300.



I have not done Cutters Cry yet.

Hit 89.44 DPS last night on Mistress. Stayed on her the entire fight. Used a Mega Pot of Strength and Smoked Raptor.

With food, medicine, and FoF can hit 883attack . . . Must break 1000attack.

I think MNK is the top DPS in almost all fights. Fist buffs are great because they allow MNK to do elemental damage to mobs that are strong to physical attacks.

Highest DPS on Mistress yes. BLM/BRD still wins out on Coincounter due to not having to dodge out of 100Tonze. BLM highest on Chimera.

There's only one 100T to avoid, the second you can stay in his back to the left, you won't get any damage.

When he does his 360° AoE 100T, just pull back, he fall to the ground then full attack, he is easily stunable, if stun you can do a full combo, either that, do 2 skills, wait for the TPmove see if you can land the third skill.


I did go with INT Path, because that's what i got from friend as HQ accessories and damage arn't bad at all.

On Coincutter as for Mistress, i always go Fist of Fire, because, i have trouble to manage my skills combo (after the 50% on coincutter), and then my combo are nearly never on cooldown (mostly because i run away often).
Also i prefer puting more damage from auto-attack (Fist of Fire) than my combo skill (Fist of Wind), or my threat will probably flash (it's still flashing with Fire but less often ^^).

On parser, blm where on top, but for a short.

731 Attack (no food), can go up to 780~
261 STR
324 INT (+7 with food)

Having to run out off 100Tonze Swing range is still a loss in DPS and a MNK (even a really good MNK) should never beat a BLM or BRD on this encounter. The numbers just won't lie.

We did a speed AV today and I hit close to 25,000 overall dmg on Mistress.

You can dodge 100T with feather feet (he won't fall to the ground then and put your team in danger if your tank move), but even if it's working well (i'd say 90% of time), sometime it'll just miss.
I haven't saved my parse, but i'm pretty close to blm, brd are a bit away from me. on the fight, i just lose 3~4s when he does his 100T.

Actually we didn't do any speed run, so i'm enjoying as long as i can playing mnk on this mob (the most funny for me).
