DRK should be better and have 2 spam windows.
They both came at the exact same time, and Delirium shares more similarities with Inner Release than with Requiescat.
You can still do 6 Fell Cleave in a row right now (Or even 7), it didn't die...but you can also fit one Onslaught and one Upheaval in the middle of that![]()

Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. For example, on a date, the boyfriend might want to invite the girlfriend to go the horror house, but the girlfriend just doesn’t seem to find it fun. In other words, it’s not like everyone wants to go to the horror house, but there are people who just love the adrenalin rush they get from it. Think of Eureka as something like that.
That is untrue. Original 4.0-4.1 Inner Release only halved your gauge costs for 20 seconds at a 120 second cd, nothing else. WAR also had old Berserk at the time - 30% dmg buff lasting 20 seconds at 60 second cd. That created 2 different burst windows(zerk and zerk+IR) which both required gauge management for preparation during downtime and were more involved themselves, as you had to generate some gauge with your combo during burst in order to maximize damage output.
Requiscat was indeed the original "spam one button 5 times" buff and older WARs have drawn the comparison with new IR as soon as 4.2 preliminary patch notes were shown.
- Build 100 beast gauge
- pop Inner Release
- do 4 Fell Cleave at 25 gauge each
- pop Infuriate to gain 50 gauge
- do two more Fell Cleave.
Isn't it spammy enough for you ? It was even marketed in the Job Action trailer before we even knew how Requiescat and Holy Spirit would synergize.
