    Make it anymore complex, and you will see people playing a tank like a bot.
    Tanks could only be complex to the point where it allows you to pay an attention to other things in the game. Like managing your def CD's, positioning the mobs/boss, using support skills at the right time etc stuff.
    You will find a complexity with DPS, they could have more engaging rotations to play around, tanks cant afford the same level of engagement in one aspect of gameplay, they have to do much more than just pew pew from distance.

    i considering you are underestimate what tanks can do and overestimate our dutys as a tanks, specially since most dedicate tanks considerate the role the most easy and a way less skilled players can even do his basic dutys just fine.

    more important meaby you don't know but DRK was the most popular tank in HW apart of being the hardest one to manage and good DRKs never have any problem with they tanking dutys in HW and SB while mid-maxing his job.

    My thoughts on the spam 5x burst phases (since I'm playing WAR to farm the mount while wanting for Shb) they're power nap time. That's why I hate playing WAR, normal rotation is death boring and burst phase is brain dead.

    Thats a really big assumptions you made here.
    Not all will fail with basic task thats for sure, but making the gap bigger between skill floor and ceiling will for sure make balancing everything much harder if not impossible.
    You know how it will be frustrating for anyone who is not playing a tank, to go into the duty and see giant difference between players, once you are doing something in 15 minutes and another times it takes 50 minutes. It is already bad enough, and what if a tank jobs have complexity level of a samurai and still have to use def CDs and support abilities?

    You don't balance jobs with players being terrible at it no matter the job desing, specially since no content ask for maximum job performance outside of savage and ultimate and even on savage you have much room in the first turns when you overgear it.

    Make every job have spam windows and ppl will complaint that all are the same, not every job need this and not every player like it, bring diversity on jobs gameplay and ppl will pick the one that like more, put this mechanic on everyone and ppl will complain especially if come at cost of the old gameplay.

    What's the point of have 4 different tanks if all work mostly the same? If DRK need a burst phase they could design something more original that just copy paste this trash.

    I don't like the utter irrelevance of enmity now, it wasn't super important before but nevertheless I think it served a useful purpose as a simple introduction to coordinating across the party. Maximizing DPS required everyone do their bit to manage it.

    I also liked the game-play possibilities that could come from switching abilities in and out depending on stance, but they only ever really did anything with that potential on Warrior.

    Yeah, and the people trying to tell me it's fun are becoming quite annoying, I know what I find fun and spam x5 isn't it.

    I don't like it, I leveled Warrior to see for myself and I basically haven't played it since getting it to 70. I even ended up basically dropping Paladin for Dark Knight over the course of Stormblood, and holy spam isn't that similar.

    Now it looks like Dark Knight can go in the bin too.
