Housing Selling and Player Abusing the System

Hi,

I've been checking housing districts everyday for a while now trying to get a new house and I even found the market for housing where players "bribe" others to leave or sell their FC to you for a ridiculously large sum of Gil.

After joining these groups I also found that you can bypass the single-house ownership per account by creating a FC with friends with alts and having them buy the house and then transfer ownership to you (on your alt).

So there's players out there with up to 8 houses per account per server, which I find ridiculous when the server's congested and there's a shortage of houses for everyone.
On Ultros right now there's still some smalls popping up here and there but they're all gone once their timer is out.

Anyway, today I saw a certain individual buy/relocate two of his alts to mediums that opened up this morning, and I also saw them buying another medium that I was scouting for a friend and they got it first. And I just saw them posting on the housing selling markets that they're selling all 3 mediums.

Is this fair?
Isn't there anything to be done except get extremely lucky that a house opens up when I check, or do we have to pay these players an absurd amount of Gil (prices goes up since server's full) to have one of these plots?
Can't or won't SE do something about this system loophole to prevent assholes like this to keep doing this?

You can also wait till the next housing ward or area opens up, currently rumored to be Ishgard in .. possibly 5.1 and run the housing rush at server opening like most of us with houses have.

They've been trying to shore it up, it used to be that people could own personal AND FC houses on every alt on the same server but that was changed, however people who already had multiple houses got to keep them. . We can only pray for more regulation or a new system implementation at this point.
