I call this cognitive dissonance, if it would fall under "name and shame".

It's like calling the police after watching a crime and getting arrested for telling them who the perpetrator was.

The forums are incredibly strict. Believe me when I tell you that. All not editing out the names will do is cause your post to be removed and a potential infraction made against your account - which are permanent and will affect your ability to post concerns here in the future. I've been here for over 3 years now and seen many posts like yours outright deleted for not censoring the bot names.

You can report these in-game, but RMT bots like these are usually banned in waves so the GMs will get to them eventually even if you don't report them.

I remember when I tried to do a quest in Thanalan with my alt, where you have to kill some of the baron's guards and the baron himself. Whenever I entered the purple circle to make them appear, BLM bots were nearby and instantly launched multiple Fire on the target, preventing me from getting the kills. I tricked them by getting the first hit and landing a few attacks so the kill would be mine but still, it was actually infuriating and time-consuming.

I never really minded bots (I know they should not be there or whatnot) but now it got personal lmao

Removed images, it's just not worth it. I just feel like they are botting in dungeons too a lot, sitting on "Reserving Server" for Amdapor Keep now the second time for 40 minutes.
Sad story for such a beautiful game.
