Only for new purchase. Relocation was still free-for-all. I should have clarified. It is late here.

Yes, i hope so too, it isn't like it is a very long time that a lot of people are in shell fcs of only one player to get the house who goes along with it XD
Patch 4.2 brought us ward 13 through 18. At the time of release, only FCs who did not already own a house could purchase a plot while players or FCs who already owned real estate could relocate. The moratorium on newly acquired personal housing lasted two weeks. It is also at that time that SE removed the freshly introduced restriction on the total amount of FC houses you can own on a server without the need to tranfer FC ownership around...
New housing wards? Did I miss something? I thought the live letter said there wasn't going to be a new housing area/wards in SHB (I did see something about keeping an eye on the housing situation but nothing definite).
It won't be there at the release, probably more with patch 5.1, but a new housing sector is coming out, probably Ishgard. It was told at the 2nd and 3rd Fan Festival if my memory is correct.
Oh stop it, you have literally 20 something houses.Patch 4.2 brought us ward 13 through 18. At the time of release, only FCs who did not already own a house could purchase a plot while players or FCs who already owned real estate could relocate. The moratorium on newly acquired personal housing lasted two weeks. You don't need anymore, stop being greedy.
I believe all we still have is the emphasized "live in ishgard" bit from one of the live letters. They've not outright said a new housing zone is on the way unless I missed something. They didn't even cover the Ishgard restoration in the liveletter for whatever reason, we just have bits from interviews that had to be translated by 3rd parties.
Or at least allow us to upgrade our apartments. Maybe make the largest a bit smaller than a medium house? It should be left as a free for all. What I would like to see happen (most likely never will) is that you can upgrade your house on your current plot. For example if you currently live in a small you can upgrade to a medium, Medium -> Large ... for a steep gil fee of course.
