"An unexpected error has occurred" only on one character

Hiyas, I've only just brought the game this week and I've already run into an issue. I submitted a help ticket and was told that they couldn't help me, so what exactly do they expect me to do?

My issue is that I was following the main quest line and got to the "Druthers House Rules" quest. I accepted that and ran towards the quest location, and then the game suddenly crashed with this error. I tried repeatedly logging into the character, with the same error. I can log into my other character just fine and play the game.

I've tried all fixes I've found and nothing has worked.

your client can be corrupt, did you try reinstall?

How long have you been experiencing this issue? If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

Could you also provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
