Summoner's my main, so I'll be going with that.
I'll probably follow that up with Black Mage or White Mage depending how I'm feeling.

Might seem like it but after some weeks the hype will die down. At the end of the day unless people are convicted on switching primary roles, main tanks will remain tanks, main healers will remain as healer and main DPS will always preffer to be DPS, that split between wanting to punch things on the face, be a fancy mage or being a little bit more exotic.
Back on ARR everyone was like "I'm going to be a main rogue!" and it seemed like the game would have nothing but Rogues for the rest of the year. Same with all the people that got hyped for AST giving the impression healer queues would be no longer 2 seconds long because of the new influx of healers. Then SB with SAM and RDM. Now this with Dancer.
A lot of people will be trying out dancer, but I'm calling it now that not a lot of people will remain as one as a primary job, because it still follows the same standards of every other job.
If you really like the concept and the idea of dancer, and on top of it likes the idea of filling the role of the damage dealer on content, then I wouldn't let the fact dancer is something new jeopardize the fun of playing one. I'm a main Red Mage since day 1, and while it was a little challenging to find groups in need of one for the first couple of months, eventually it got to the point in which it wasn't difficult at all, simply because 1) Some people realized RDM is not for them, 2) Pretty much everyone that mains RDM today already had SMN or BLM as a favored job anyways and 3) Some people were so passionate about playing one that they gave up on their primary job/role just to play the class. Everyone else just leveled it up because it looks cool and left it at that to play what clicks the most with them.
As for me, I'll probably give dancer a go, but I won't say I'll absolutely be a main end-game dancer raider because there's always more to it than just liking the "imagery" of a job. cough cough Machinist cough

Will be leveling DNC straight away. I honestly wish it started at lvl 70 so I could jump right into the MSQ but I'll just consider early access my time to catch DNC up. GNB will be next cause it looks really fun. Then maybe RDM.
I really, really want to do Dancer first, but I'm also very excited to begin the MSQ and get into the new areas and content, so probably Bard. Dancer will most likely be my main this expansion though, so I'll dive into that once I hit 80.
I may level SAM instead and make that my new Main since I always have a soft spot for Gun Jobs and Fast attack Assassin Sword DPS jobs.
Which is why I wish for a future DPS job to be a Modern Assassin Job that use a Short Sword and Gun in combat.
Gunbreaker because my BFF wants to go through the MSQ on Dancer. Once I hit 70, I may switch to Dragoon or Ninja. But those three will likely be the first to 80.

I am obsessed with Samurai swords. Ever since FFXI I have been a Samurai main, so that won't change now since they introduced Sam in SB. Before the introduction of Sam I played Drg.
Player
DRK or WHM, I'll try both right away in early access and see what I like more
