Does anyone have a link or a quote of the latest dev/Yoshi response about retainers? With 35 peices of new artifact armor plus another 6 upcoming pieces of event accessories, retainer space is even more packed.

Inventory limits are supposed to be decreasing again sometime and I want to know when we will be able to purchase more retainers for storing stuff.

2.0 we are getting maniquins to store gear, but seriously you choose to get all items, no one is making you get em all if your inv is that low.

Seriously people always say about how thier retainers are full and thier inv is 200/200 but they always find room for gear and event items, cant be that bad.

No, we seriously need more inventory room. It's "not that bad" if you don't gather and craft or maybe, but I'm ambitious. I want to take my hand at all the DoHs, and I'm storing all the mats I get to prepare.

If this game is all about letting us play however many jobs we want whenever we want, then there needs to be the inventory space that accommodates that!

Mannequins aren't gear storage, they are more like quick macros for swapping out gear. (Wardrobe change)

Oh man, that's disappointing I hoped the mannequins would hold the gear as well as acting as more convenient macros...

Mannequins do BOTH. They're quick gear changes as well as gear storage so that gear doesn't take up inventory space. It's because of this exact reason that they're considering reducing inventory back down to 100 when the mannequin system is introduced in 2.0.

The other thing I'd like to mention is the inventory. Inventory space was expanded in 1.19. However, in 2.0 we will be introducing the mannequin system where players can store their equipment, so we are thinking about reverting to the 100-slot inventory in the future.

Something that dosn't make me abandon important memorabilia.

i gather all 3 jobs
i craft all 8 jobs

i currently have 120 free inventory on my character
and over 100 free slots on my retainers

counting the af i need to get still, thats only another 31 slots itl take up, but itl also free up other slots of gear i wont need any more in the process


so "doing multiple jobs" is by far not an excuse, people are just pack rats
