    The problem isn't coming from the design, per just the visual.

    The meteor visual is old and looks cheap. (Mostly because most of the visual is "up" when you're looking "down") The Meteor animation tend to enter your camera so you see a part of the rock (like walking through a roof when you see both outside and inside)
    SMN one feels bleh, like Arkmorn is shinnier than the 3 spark you shoot. (The wings are cool tho)

    For sch it's just, we're summoning Seraph but beside a pulsing aura nothing else happens. And also, the fact that we can now have Seraph in battle makes the whole "I summon Seraph for a lb3 heal" a bit... underwhelming. Seraph used to be a big thing, it's a 2min cd (makes sens we're getting stronger), same could be said for SMN, we used to get bahamut like wings and shoot one of his signature move. Well now we have freaking Bahamut and Pheonix shooting Arkmorn and Revelation every 2min... I dunno.
    My generic skills feel stronger (visually) than my LB3.

    When the AST does LB3 i mean, that's something, when the RDM use LB3, it's like Vermillion havock-quack-inferno

    (I'll refrain from commenting paladin LB3...)

    So that's why, I'm not sure I explained my feeling adequatly but that's the gist of it. It just looks like a generic heal now and some of our skill actually look more powerful.
    I'm not asking for AST style retina-burning LB3 but... just something that look strongr than my CD.

    Why are you feeding words into their mouth? I don't think she said she'd go out of her way to get misery to pop, my assumption is if she gets it from healing she'd just save it for said add phase.

    I mean, its questionable on single target, but Misery lily will be hella fun on packs of mobs in dungeons.

    I'm looking forward to seeing healers possibly heal more instead of being so obsessed with their Deeps. I'm pretty good at not dying in MMOs, but for some reason lately almost every healer I've seen hasn't bothered to heal anyone and I've had to jump all over them for them to see I have no health left and need more than a Regen or Succor. Maybe with less overall damage dealing skills I'll get healed more.

    I think it may have the opposite effect. Now than healing is more accessible, more healers will feel more comfortable. Also actually is just SCH which lost the majority of DPS skills, WHM lost one but gained one (granted, the new one require them healing to use). AST DPS is the same as ever. Even the NPC of the Trust System goes full DPS mode throwing heals when necessary.

    (Sorry for double posting, didn't realize it, I'm kind of tired)

    Sorry, a lot of healers don't like rewarding DPS for standing in orange circles. That's like giving your dog a treat for pissing on the carpet. It's best to let the DPS die, let the tanks surpass them in total damage, and then res them. Gotta train them somehow.

    I guess it is pretty silly, but I like the look of the new fairy, Seraph. I'm a sucker for smallfolk and fairy folk in fantasy, dwarf, hobbits, fairies and the like, and I love the look of the new fairy. I wish we had a better reason to use Selene, but still is pretty cool we have Seraph. Also like instant shields, really wanted more shielding options that could be used reactively and fast. I hope SE takes advantage of those for fight designs with more random attacks. Like the more "light magic" oriented spells of WHM, but I'm a bit conflicted about losing the "nature" flavor of the job.

    I would say is a tie between Seraph, Recitation and the new Sacred Soil, I'm very dissapointed with how the job seems to be in 5.0 but those 3 changes give a lot of room for optimization in the healing which I personally enjoy.

    More optimization choices (apart dps) for SCH, and play WHM for adds.

    This may sound odd, but my favorite little change is actually the Adloquium Crit shield change. Yes, it's a nerf for Deployment Tactics, but it's a nerf that was probably needed, and more importantly, done right.
